Who you are calling

Horley Car Recovery

A local flatbed recovery firm working Horley, Gatwick, Redhill, Reigate, Crawley and the M23, with more than one driver on the road. Cars, vans, 4x4s and motorbikes.

Call to check current availability and the cost of your recovery.

Tell us where the vehicle is, what has happened and where it needs to go. We agree the job and price before setting off. If the location, vehicle condition or requested work changes, we explain any extra work and agree the price with you before carrying it out.

The work is breakdowns, accidents, flat batteries, motorbikes, vans and vehicles that simply need moving from one place to another. It is a flatbed, so your car goes up on the deck and is strapped down rather than dragged along on its own wheels. That matters for automatics, for low cars and for anything that has been in a knock.

Horley sits between Gatwick, Redhill, Reigate and Crawley with the M23 running through it. That is the patch, and the villages in between are covered too. Call and you get the firm itself, not a call centre passing the job on.

  • More than one driver, so a truck can be free when you ring.
  • No breakdown cover needed.
  • Cash, bank transfer or PayPal.
  • 24/7, day or night.
  • Price agreed before we set off.

Broken down and not sure where?

Find where you are

Tell us where to come. Use the phone’s own location, or type the postcode if you know it.

Use my location

Your location and answers are shared when you press Send recovery request.

Type a postcode

Full postcode is best. Just the start, like RH6, still narrows it down.

This finder needs JavaScript, which is switched off in this browser. Ring or text instead and say roughly where you are: a road name, a junction number, or what you can see.

How it works

Three steps, no call centre

  1. Tell us where you are

Call or text with the location, what you are driving and what it is doing. A map pin is perfect if you have one.

  2. Get the price first

We agree the job and price before the truck sets off. Any additional work is explained and agreed with you first.

  3. The truck comes to you

Loaded properly, strapped down, and taken to your home, your garage or wherever you need it.

Who turns up

More than one driver

Our own drivers cover the same local patch.

You book directly with the firm sending the truck. Availability depends on current jobs, access and the vehicle. If anything changes on the way, you hear it from us.

Every job goes on a flatbed. Your car goes up on the deck and gets strapped down, rather than being dragged along on its own wheels behind something else. That matters for automatics, for low cars, and for anything that has been in a knock.

Cash, bank transfer or PayPal. No membership to buy first and no annual fee.

Need help after a collision? Read about accident recovery and check whether recovery has already been arranged.

If the car has simply stopped and will not go, the detail of how that job runs is on the breakdown recovery page.

How a price is worked out

Where you are, where the vehicle is going, and what it takes to load it. We agree the job and price before setting off. Any additional work is explained and agreed with you first.

You are quoted before anybody sets off, and the figure covers the job you asked for. Any extra work and its price are agreed with you before it is carried out.

Questions

Common questions

Do I need breakdown cover to call you?
No. You can book one-off recovery without a membership or annual fee. If you have existing cover, check its terms before arranging a separate service.
What areas do you cover?
Horley, Gatwick Airport, Redhill, Reigate and Crawley, plus the stretches of M23 and M25 around them. The villages in between are covered too, including Salfords, Smallfield, Charlwood and Hookwood. If you are not sure, call and ask.
Who arranges recovery after an accident?
If police or National Highways are managing the incident, follow their instructions and check whether they have already arranged recovery. Your insurer may also have arrangements in place. Once the scene is safe and you are free to choose a recovery firm, call us with the vehicle’s location, condition and intended destination.
What will you not take?
We recover suitable cars, vans, pickups, 4x4s and motorbikes by flatbed. Send the make, model, actual loaded weight where known, vehicle condition and access details so we can confirm the right truck and loading method. HGV and heavy recovery are outside our service. Booked transport is usually within roughly 50 miles of Horley.
