Motorbike Recovery, Horley and Gatwick

Bikes go on the deck and get strapped down properly. Nothing is dragged along on a rope and nothing is left to lean on its stand and hope.

  • More than one driver, so a truck can be free when you ring.
  • No breakdown cover needed.
  • Cash, bank transfer or PayPal.
  • 24/7, day or night.
  • Price agreed before we set off.

How a bike travels

The bike travels secured on the flatbed. Give us the make, model, weight where known and any damage so the loading and restraint method can be checked.

Restraint points and suspension requirements vary by motorcycle. The driver needs the relevant manufacturer guidance and suitable equipment.

Mention accessories, fairings and any parts that could be damaged during loading. A bike with locked wheels needs an additional suitability check.

What we come out to

  • Will not start, flat battery, or an electrical fault miles from home
  • A dropped chain, a seized wheel or a chain that has come off the sprocket
  • A puncture, which on a bike is not something to ride on
  • After a drop or a knock, where riding it home is not sensible
  • Non-runners and project bikes that need moving between sheds
  • Collection after a purchase, or a run to an MOT station and back

For a planned purchase or garage move, send collection and delivery details in advance. For a breakdown or collision, call once you are safe.

If you are stranded a long way from home, say so on the phone. We will work out what is possible for you as well as for the bike.

How it works

What happens when you call

  1. Tell us where you are

Call or text with the location, what you are driving and what it is doing. A map pin is perfect if you have one.

  2. Get the price first

We agree the job and price before the truck sets off. Any additional work is explained and agreed with you first.

  3. The truck comes to you

Loaded properly, strapped down, and taken to your home, your garage or wherever you need it.

Where it goes, and what it costs

Bikes get strapped by a driver who has done it before, not by whoever a call centre could find. More about how it works.

Home, your own garage, a dealer, an MOT station or a friend's lock-up. Tell us on the phone and the bike goes straight there.

How a price is worked out

Where you are, where the vehicle is going, and what it takes to load it. We agree the job and price before setting off. Any additional work is explained and agreed with you first.

Questions

Motorbike questions

How is a bike held on the truck?
We confirm a loading and securing method suitable for the make, model and condition before booking. Tell us about accessories, modifications and damage so the driver can check suitable restraint points and equipment.
Can you move a bike that will not roll?
Tell us which wheel is locked and about any damage. We confirm whether suitable equipment and safe access are available before accepting the job.
Will the bike get scratched?
The driver checks suitable restraint points and protects contact areas. Tell us about damaged panels or accessories before booking; we cannot guarantee an undamaged outcome regardless of condition or access.
Do you take scooters and mopeds?
Tell us the scooter or moped make, model, condition and location. We check suitable loading equipment and capacity before confirming collection.
Can you collect a bike I have just bought?
Yes, though that is transport rather than recovery. Give us a postcode at each end, the make and model, and whether it runs.

Bike gone down or gone wrong?

Tell us where you are and what it is doing. You get the price before we set off.
