Vehicle Transport and Collection from Horley

A booked move rather than an emergency. Cars, vans and bikes, running or not, taken from one address to another on the deck.

  • More than one driver, so a truck can be free when you ring.
  • No breakdown cover needed.
  • Cash, bank transfer or PayPal.
  • 24/7, day or night.
  • Price agreed before we set off.

What transport means here

Recovery is what happens when something goes wrong today. Transport is planned. You know where the vehicle is, you know where it needs to be, and you pick the day.

It travels the same way either way: up on the flatbed, one vehicle at a time, strapped at four points. Nothing is towed on a rope and nothing is driven on trade plates.

  • A car bought online or at auction that needs collecting
  • A non-runner going to a garage, a buyer or a new owner
  • A project car or a barn find coming out of storage
  • Moving house, with a second car that nobody is free to drive
  • Garages and dealers shifting stock between sites
  • Motorbike collection and delivery

How far we go

Roughly 50 miles from Horley is the working limit. That covers Surrey, most of Sussex, south London and the western edge of Kent comfortably.

Longer runs than that are a different business with a different truck. We would rather tell you that up front than take the booking and do it badly.

Motorcycle loading and restraint arrangements are checked for the model and condition. That is covered on the motorbike recovery page.

We cover the towns and villages in between too.

  • Salfords
  • Smallfield
  • Charlwood

  • Lingfield

Garages, dealers and body shops

We take enquiries for garage, dealer, body-shop and auction collections. Tell us who can release the vehicle and who will receive it at the destination.

If you move vehicles regularly, say so on the first call. Regular work gets a standing arrangement and a known price, rather than a fresh negotiation every single time.

Regular work is kept with the same driver wherever we can, so you are not explaining your access arrangements to somebody new each week.

Get a price

Booked work is arranged with us directly rather than through a call centre. More on that.

Send the collection and delivery postcodes, vehicle make and model, whether it runs, rolls and steers, key and access details, and your preferred date. We confirm the loading arrangements, availability and price before you book. A text enquiry is not a confirmed booking.

A booked move and an emergency are priced differently. How recovery pricing works explains both.

Get a transport price

Tell us the vehicle, where it is now and where it needs to go. You get a figure back, not a callback chase.

How it works

What happens when you book

  1. Tell us where you are

Call or text with the location, what you are driving and what it is doing. A map pin is perfect if you have one.

  2. Get the price first

We agree the job and price before the truck sets off. Any additional work is explained and agreed with you first.

  3. The truck comes to you

Loaded properly, strapped down, and taken to your home, your garage or wherever you need it.

Questions

Transport questions

How do you transport a vehicle?
On a flatbed, one at a time. The vehicle is driven or winched up onto the deck, strapped down at four points, and comes off the same way at the other end.
Can you move a car that does not run?
We can transport suitable non-runners. Tell us whether it rolls and steers, whether wheels are locked, any damage and whether keys are available. We confirm equipment, loading and access before accepting it.
Can you collect a car I bought at auction?
Yes. We need the site, the lot or release reference, and whoever is releasing the vehicle to be expecting somebody. Auction sites are strict about that and rightly so.
Do you need the keys?
It helps a great deal. Without keys a car cannot be steered or taken out of park, so it becomes a longer and more awkward job. Tell us on the phone if there are none.

Need a vehicle moved?

Tell us what it is, whether it runs, and the postcode at each end. You get a price back.
